Linhome 1.4 is now available!
This new version brings updates for both Android and iOS, along with functional improvements aimed at enhancing compatibility, stability, and the overall user experience.
Support for the latest systems and SDK updates
- Android: Linhome now supports API 35 on Android 15. This update is especially beneficial for developers using Linhome as an application base, ensuring continued compatibility with the latest Android ecosystem updates.
- iOS: Dependency management for Linphone SDK 5.4 has been migrated to Swift Package Manager, simplifying project integration and maintenance.
Both Android and iOS applications have been rebased on Linphone SDK 5.4.
Functional improvements and bug fixes
1. New account creation API (FAM 2.0):
The registration process now uses code-based activation. Users log in with their email address, receive a verification code via email, and enter it in the app to complete access—replacing the previous clickable link system.
2. UDP connection fix:
An issue preventing accounts using the UDP protocol from connecting has been resolved. Connections now work correctly.
