The feature set is now more than sufficient\u00a0to power a complete real-time communication network, with secure authentication, audio, video, chat and ICE. This release focuses on providing a\u00a0<strong>stable, clean, and robust reference<\/strong>\u00a0to deploy communication networks on the long term.<\/p>\n<h3>NEW FEATURES<\/h3>\n<p>The last feature that entered the 2.0 release is the support\u00a0of\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff5e00;\"><a style=\"color: #ff5e00;\" href=\"https:\/\/tools.ietf.org\/html\/rfc8599\">RFC8599<\/a><\/span>\u00a0for the transmission of the push notification information through REGISTER requests, where\u00a0we leverage to adapt to iOS 13 new push notification constraints.<\/p>\n<p>Some other important features were added during\u00a0the last years, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ExternalAuthentication<\/strong>, a new proxy module that performs SIP request authentication based on the inputs of an external http service. It typically allows Flexisip to interact with a third party authentication service in order to authenticate a SIP request.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201c<span style=\"color: #ff5e00;\"><a style=\"color: #ff5e00;\" href=\"https:\/\/wiki.linphone.org\/xwiki\/wiki\/public\/view\/Flexisip\/C.%20Features\/Presence%20server\/#HServerknownresourcelists\">Server known resource lists<\/a><\/span>\u201d\u00a0feature, a feature that allows to directly provision a Liblinphone-based client with a server defined contact list, together with associated presence information. The typical use case can be to have team workers sharing\u00a0a common company-defined address book on their communication app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please refer to our\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff5e00;\"><a style=\"color: #ff5e00;\" href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.linphone.org\/BC\/public\/flexisip\/blob\/master\/CHANGELOG.md\">changelog file<\/a><\/span>\u00a0for a detailed description of flexisip 2.0 release.<\/p>\n<h3>A COMPLETE SERVER SUITE FOR VOIP AND IM APPS<\/h3>\n<p>The Flexisip software now comprises three modules:\u00a0<strong>proxy, presence and conference<\/strong>\u00a0(the latter being required for Linphone&#8217;s group chat features).<\/p>\n<p>This server suite is typically suitable to deploy your\u00a0<strong>own cloud SIP service<\/strong>\u00a0tuned for your Linphone-based application, especially since\u00a0it supports push notifications (including iOS13 new requirements).<\/p>\n<h3>INSTALLATION AND DOCUMENTATION<\/h3>\n<p>Flexisip services can be installed\u00a0<strong>at your premises<\/strong>\u00a0or on a machine rented from a cloud service provider, such as<strong>\u00a0AWS, Azure or OVH.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Documentation, configuration, and management tools have been entirely reviewed and improved to ease the work of system administrators in charge of configuration or maintenance.<br \/>\n-&gt;
