# Copy a message

To copy a message in a Linphone conversation, follow the steps below :

Copy a message

To copy the content of a message to your clipboard :

1. **Long press** on the message you want to copy.

2. **Select “Copy”**  from the options menu that appears.

3. A brief toast notification will confirm that the message has been successfully copied.

💡 **Tip :** You can then paste the copied content into any app on your device (messaging, notes, email, etc.).
